The Kwality Group LLC, founded in 2022 by CAPT Nana-Akua Kwatemaa, RN, MSN (ret.) may be new as a company, but not new to the conduct of research projects and clinical database management. Our company consists of a multidisciplinary team that are subject matter experts in implementing practical approaches to providing effective solutions to meet our client’s goals and mission. We have conducted multiple high profile, complex research projects in the area of Gene therapy and Bone Marrow Transplantation. We have many years of experience with cloud-based, research data management systems as well as providing regulatory support for multiple drug trials and multi-center clinical trials.

Research Projects
(Past Performance)

  1. Gene therapy, gene deletions/gene editing clinical trials using ex vivo 

  2. transduction of autologous CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells for patients with rare immune deficiencies.

  3. Multiple bone marrow transplantation projects including allogeneic transplantation using matched-sibling donor, haplo, or matched-unrelated donor (MUD) hematopoietic stem cell grafts with sub-ablative marrow conditioning plus alloimmune tolerance induction regimens 

  4. Multiple collaborative studies with pharmaceutical companies on Inflammatory Bowel diseases  

  5. Multiple natural history research projects on patients with rare immune deficiencies such as  X-linked chronic granulomatous disease (CGD), X-linked severe combined immune deficiency (X-SCID), and WHIM syndrome.

  6. Multi-sity research project on Inflammatory processes with associated autoimmune symptoms in patients with inherited primary immune deficiencies (PIDs)

  7. Acute and chronic graft versus Host Disease studies

  8. Collection of Samples and Data for the National Marrow Donor Program Repository

  9. The establishment and Regulatory management  of NIAID’s CIBMTR project for BMT data collection
